But overall I would recommend this product. I appreciate the fact the mixer is quiet and I mean quiet it does not disturb anyone while I work, clean up is easy as well. The other attachments has proven to be useful as well, I used the dough hook to make fondant and was satisfied with the results. pasta machine etc. I purchased this machine cause at the time I could not afford a Kitchen Aid. This machine is ideal for mixing frosting made with vegetable shortening as this can become stiff and put strain on your regular mixer motor (I can testify I lost two hand mixers). The thing that dissapointed me with this product is that it does not have any further attachments,eg.
tried and tested, she said it is the best item i have ever bought her. bought for my lovely wife for christmas and she got it a little early to help with the huge family christmas dinner she was preparing for the first time. kitchen aid is no longer the best trust me i lokked at bouth extensively.
The release 'button' is located in the back and it is flush with adjoining surfaces. I wish the head release was more accessible. Otherwise it's great and I would recommend it to anyone. I'm pretty new to the mixer but I like it so far. It is quiet, it seems to be quite sturdy, and it looks good sitting on the counter. I also wish the head would swivel to the side thereby providing better or more 'open' access to the mixing bowl.
Great power and is built as well as the Kitchen Aids. I dont dream about owning a Kitchen Aid anymore.I have my Hamilton Beach. Have had this mixer for a few years now and still love every time I use it. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.
The mixing bowl is quite large, motor is quieter than most, and several unlikely accessories are provided (i.e. We were also considering the HB Commercial unit, which has nearly twice the power; however, the cost was more than double this one. Needless to say, we are v.happy with this purchase. The Hamilton Beach (HB) mixer was our preferred choice out of dozens, bar none. With its die-cast metal parts and powerful 400-watt motor there were none in its price range that came close to this. splash guard, etc).
